The 106th Grey Cup has finally come down to the final matchup of the year. As is tradition, the Grey Cup is played on the final Sunday in November which will be November 25th 2018. The game kicks off at 6 PM EST in Edmonton at Commonwealth Stadium. The game can be seen on almost every single television and smart device in Canada. Finding where to watch the game outside of Canada can be tricky as the CFL is not that popular outside of Canada. Thankfully, we are here to show you how you can watch the 2018 Grey Cup. The game is between the Ottawa Redblacks and the Calgary Stampeders. The Stampeders are the favorite to win but have been unable to take the Grey Cup home over the past 3 years where they have made it to the final. Let’s see how to watch live streaming of the 2018 Grey Cup online.
The 2018 Grey Cup will be shown on either TSN or RDS depending on if you live in a French-speaking part of Canada or not. Coverage of the Grey Cup will begin at 6 PM EST. TSN and RDS have the best coverage of the Grey Cup as they employ veteran CFL announcers that know the ins and outs of the game. Check with your local cable providers to find which channel the game will be on in your town.
TSN Direct is TSN’s answer to DAZN which is a new streaming service that recently debuted in Canada. With TSN Direct you do not need a cable provider and you can access all of their programming including the Grey Cup with their monthly fee. They only have one package and it starts at $25 Canadian dollars a month which is very expensive considering there are streaming services that cost that much per month
If you have a cable subscription, chances are you have access to TSN Go. TSN Go is the application that you can use to watch TSN anywhere on the go in Canada. TSN Go is available on most devices so you should easily be able to download the application to watch the 2018 CFL final. You can also go to TSN TV to stream the game live in HD.
If you live in the United States there is only one way to watch the Stampeders and Argonauts battle it out for the Grey Cup. ESPN2 will be showing the game live in HD so you will need access to ESPN in order to watch the game. Thankfully there is a host of streaming services that offer ESPN in their core packages so you will not have to pay too much in order to watch the Grey Cup.
Sling TV is the cheapest option for a streaming service if you are looking for just ESPN. Their Orange package starts at just $25 a month and includes ESPN2 so you will be able to watch the 2018 Grey Cup final. This is your best bet to watch the 106th Grey Cup cheaply.
Hulu TV is a good deal starting at $40 a month for their base package and it comes with ESPN. You get access to all of their original content as well so it is a good option if you are looking to watch series like the Handmaid’s Tale.
YouTube TV has quickly risen to the top of many people’s streaming services as they offer unlimited DVR and a host of channels with their base package. The package starts off at $40 a month and includes ESPN2 so you will not miss out on a single second of Grey Cup action.
DirecTV Now is the powerhouse of streaming services as they lead the pack with their number of subscribers. Their base package starts at $40 a month but if you are an AT&T Unlimited customer you get $15 a month off of that price. Their base package obviously includes ESPN2 plus 65 other channels that consumers love.
PlayStation Vue is the streaming service that you should use if you live in a household with more than 4 people as their service allows families to stream up to five different devices. They charge extra for that and their base package starts at $45 a month which is the most expensive of the bunch. The base package includes ESPN2 so you can watch all of the Grey Cup coverage.
If you live abroad one of the best services that you can use to watch the 2018 Grey Cup is the CFL’s streaming service. The deal that they offer is absolutely incredible as you do not have to sign up for a service or subscribe to anything at all. All you have to do is go to this website on November 25th: Yare TV and then you will be prompted to buy the Grey Cup final for $7.99. That is a great deal if you are just looking to watch the Grey Cup final.
You cannot use the CFL’s streaming service in the following countries:
Canada, United States and its territories, United Kingdom, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, the Caribbean, the South Pacific, and Sub-Saharan Africa (excluding South Africa.)
